We offer lectures on ecology, data analysis and on the biology of selected groups of animals, from the first year of the Bachelor's program in biology to specializations in the Master programs. In all courses, we take a strongly organismic approach: what role do the traits of organisms play for shaping communities, and what functions do organisms have in ecosystems?

We offer field courses (in Austria and in tropical regions) on animal ecology and biodiversity research, laboratory internships on DNA barcoding, and instructions for the analysis of complex data sets.
